RARE FIRST RELEASE 1986 Kirsten Pleasant Company American Girl Doll w Box BEAUTY

AMAZING condition 1986 Kirsten - it's like she was in a time capsule - still in beautiful original condition after all these years! Kirsten was adult collector owned, and spent her life in the box someone suspected she might be worth something one day!

She has all the bells and whistles - chipped tooth, wig cap exposed, red initials printed on the heart, vertical ribbon on box, and labels reading West Germany 1986. Kirsten still has her original braids, and hair is soft and silky. Her bright blue eyes are hypnotizing...

And no indication of silver eye. Facial coloring is subtle and natural looking. The soft eyelashes are all intact, and her body is very clean - no marks or odors. Kirsten's eyes open and close as they should, and she can easily hold a pose.

She is wearing her original heart necklace, meet outfit, and accessories. I believe all of these are her original 1986 items. Her hardcover book (first edition) looks to be unread, but there is an inscription on the first page. The booklet is also included (no name on cover) but is somewhat crinkled. This serious collector held onto "Doll Reader" magazine dated Oct.

1986, which features the introduction of the new Pleasant Company dolls on pages 24 and 25 - Kirsten, Samantha, and Molly, and described as A Tradition to Treasure. Thinking this article gave the collector reason to think this first release would be valuable in the future. The box still has the vertical ribbon, but shows shelf wear.

This is a great doll for the serious collector! This item is in the category "Dolls & Bears\Dolls, Clothing & Accessories\Dolls & Doll Playsets". The seller is "alispa_46" and is located in this country: US.

This item can be shipped to United States.
