Pleasant Company Girl of Today HTF #9 Grey Eyes, Mix & Match, Sealed Writing Kit

This is a Hard to Find Pleasant Company Girl of Today #9 doll. She is one of the first 20 dolls in that line released in 1995. They had different combinations of head molds, eyes, and wigs. #9 has the classic face mold, grey eyes and light brown hair.

When first introduced the eye color was listed as hazel. But they are the same eyes as Molly, which has grey. There were 3 grey eyed dolls, #9 with light brown hair, number 19 with dark brown hair, and number 20 with blonde hair. Number 19 was completely changed in 1999 to light brown hair and green eyes. Number 9 and Number 20 were retired early in 2004.

All 3 of these grey eyed dolls are always listed on the Rare and Hard to Find list. The grey eyes were prone to developing silver eye so finding them on the second hand market is difficult. This doll's body is clean. Her hair is very soft and shiny. She is wearing the 1st Meet outfit the dolls came in.

It is called the Mix and Match outfit. It has magenta underwear, tee shirt and leggings, a white shirt, denim reversible vest and black slip on shoes. She comes with the unopened Writing Kit. There are six blank books that mimic the books of the historic line, such as Meet, Learns a Lesson etc. The books come with a writing guide for each blank book.

Also included is the blue template for lettering. I have included the hat and purse from the Meet Accessories. The contents of the purse are inside. The mini magazine is not included.

She comes in the white pinstripe box, missing the band. The box has some dings.
