OOAK Flower Fairy Princess Custom American Girl Doll Rainbow Hair Hand Painted

Meet Persephone, the One of a Kind American Girl Flower Fairy Princess. She was created from a gently preloved 18 American Girl Nellie doll with Pleasant Company 15L03 neck stamp and body tag.

Her original eyes have been replaced with lovely aquamarine eyes from a Marie Grace doll. Her eyes open and close properly and have full eyelashes.

Using acrylics and professional sealant, I have added pink shading with gloss to her lips, delicate eyelashes and eyebrows, purple shimmer to her eyelids, and colorful flowers and a butterfly to her cheeks. I have given her a soft, silky "Streamers" wig, designed by Exquisite Doll Designs. This wig has been permanently attached with waterproof craft contact adhesive, E6000. It is tangle resistant and heat resistant to 250° and can be washed and styled just like American Girl brand wigs. To maintain the style, mist and finger curl. This custom doll has been thoroughly cleaned and restrung. Her tight limbs are easily poseable. Her original neck strings are uncut.

She will arrive wearing a gown and matching flower clip handmade by me. The skirt is pink satin fabric with tulle overlay and the bodice is pink velour. Ribbons and silk flowers adorn the bodice and hair clip. The gown pulls on and has serged seams. I have customized this doll in my smoke-free, pet-free studio.
