Here for the American Girl Doll collector is BEAUTIFUL PRE-MATTEL and FIRST EDITION American Girl Doll Josefina--in excellent, near-mint condition in original box with band! She has the lettering "Pleasant Company" on the back of her neck, followed by the encircled numeral one, indicating that she is a first edition Josefina. She has no body tag.

White neck strings are intact. I don't believe her clothing has ever been removed, and I have not removed it.

Doll appears to have been used lightly, or not used at all. She comes in her classic meet outfit (tagged Pleasant Company 1997), her Meet Josefina book, hand tag and brochure and paper. A quality and RARE collectable Josefina!
