American Girl Doll Asian Just Like You/Truly Me/JLY #4
Very good condition Just Like You/Truly Me/My American Girl/Girl of Today #4, "Asian" doll. Hard to find in such lovely condition. She is notable for her unusual skin tone, which is very pale and somewhat grayish. I have included a photo comparison between her skin color and another light-skinned doll (#4's arm is on the right). On the right side of her face (your right, her left) are a few very light, very faint line-shaped shine marks.
Unfortunately my camera was not able to pick these up, as they are so faint. Her body and limbs are not stained except for a small black mark on the back of her upper left leg, which I have photographed. Her hair is very thick, soft, and not frizzy. She has the large "pie" style bangs.
Her eyes open and close with no difficulty. Her limbs are tight as demonstrated. Back of the neck says Pleasant Company. Body tag says 2008, although that may or may not be the year she was produced.
Based on her skin tone, I estimate she was probably produced around 2001. Please feel free to ask questions.
