Original 1980s Pleasant Company Retired American Girl SAMANTHA PARKINGTON DOLL 18 (White Cloth Body) with Large Lot. Most items in Excellent or Mint Condition!

A few items have wear. They are described in the itemized list and have pictures available by request. The doll and collections were gently or never used.

Samantha Parkington was the most treasured gift of my childhood. The collection was lovingly looked at or gently played with for only a few years before being boxed away in a climate controlled environment for the past 27 years.

"Meet Samantha"- 1989 White Bodied Samantha Doll with checked taffeta dress, matching bow, black stockings, and black shoes. EUC, no stains on doll or dress, Hair was brushed gently but never styled differently than original condition and still has original curls.

Black stockings have a couple of small snags that do not affect functionality. Doll box is in poor condition and has a come apart at one corner though it doesn't affect functionality.

Missing original AG seal that wrapped around it horizontally. Samantha's Accessories- burgundy plush hat, golden heart shaped locket brooch, rose velvet purse, embroidered handkerchief, and Indianhead penny.

Hat, brooch, and handkerchief are in EUC, Indianhead penny has normal tarnish, and purse is in GUC as it has a few small areas of slight wear on it. "Samantha's School Story"- Gray Flannel School Dress, black satin hair ribbon, Samantha's school desk, tea tin lunch box with watercress sandwich, a deviled egg, a peach, a gingerbread cookie, embroidered cloth napkin, book strap, pencil box, two pencils, nib pen, green felt pen wiper, Composition Book, The Baldwin Primer, and Report Book. "Samantha's School Story" Collection Pamphlet. Dress and ribbon are in EUC with no stains. School desk has some wood colored scratches on the top that I can't tell if are intentional or not.

Brass lunch box has some age expected tarnish. Food is in EUC, as is book strap, The Baldwin Primer, Report Book, pencil box and accessories. The first page of the Composition Book was written in pencil, which has now been erased. "Samantha's Christmas Story"- Cranberry party dress, satin hair ribbon, Christmas music box that plays "O Christmas Tree, " and Samantha's porcelain doll. This collection is missing a pair of white stockings, and the gingerbread house kit.

Christmas box still plays beautifully and in EUC, Samantha's porcelain doll is in EUC though a few stray hairs have loosened around her face from her ponytail. "Samantha's Birthday Story"- Lacy Pinafore and rose- and white- taffeta dress, party stockings, rosebud circlet, wicker table and two chairs, two cabbage-rose chintz cushions, complete Victorian lemonade set two goblets, two saucers, a pitcher, two gold-colored knives, forks, and spoons, an. Embroidered tablecloth edged in Battenberg lace, and two lace-edged napkins, four petite fours on a gold-rimmed platter, two ice-cream bombes, two fans, and two nosegays, a Mohair teddy bear, and elegant doll pram.

"Samantha's Birthday Story" Collection Pamphlet. Dress, circlet, and socks are in EUC with no stains.

Pinafore has very slight age-related yellowing at the end of the ribbon ties in back. Furniture and cushions are in EUC. Lemonade set, petite fours and platter are in EUC with the exception of two small area of yellow stains on the tablecloth.

Ice cream bombes had some paper bits that stuck to the pink glace top that are still visible on one. The two nose gays and Mohair Teddy are in EUC.

One of the fans has lost the teeny tiny hook that attaches the rope to the fan. "Samantha's Summer Story"- Middy dress, sailor's tam, brass bo's'n's whistle, high button shoes in black and white, pack basket, three magnetic butterflies, butterfly net, black-eyed Susan wildflower bouquet, magnifying glass, flower press, "I PINE FORE YOU". Pine needle tuffet, paint set with palette, brush, and six tubes of watercolors, and sketchbook.

Two "Samantha's Summer Story" Collection Pamphlets. Dress, hat, and boots are in EUC with no stains, brass whistle has some age expected tarnish. Flower bouquet has a missing flower or two and a few missing black eyes. The magnifying glass unfortunately broke from the plastic handle though I've saved both parts.

The paint set box is unused though there is some glue like dried marking on the inside top of the box. Everything else is in EUC. "Samantha's Winter Story"- Black Watch plaid cape, plaid gaiters, make-believe fur hat and muff, lacy whites (underwaist with pink ribbon and lace has elastic garters to hold up her long white stockings, and lace and ribbon petticoat), black Victorian valise, ice skates, French paper dolls, complete and unused valentine kit.

Clothing is all in EUC with no stains. Everything here is in EUC and the French paper dolls and valentine kit are unused and rare to find. Some of the tiny red heart stickers in the valentine's kit have lost their stickiness and fallen off the original sheet but are included. Samantha's Tea Dress- white dress with big detachable Bertha collar trimmed with a rosette and ruffles, pink satin hairbow, and a pair of white socks. Dress and bow are in EUC with no stains.

The white socks have a small black mark on both pairs in one spot. Blue and white window-pane check dress, ruffly play pinafore, matching hairbow, and a pair of white socks. 2 Packs of American Girl Trading Cards (10 Assorted Cards) One is unopened and in New condition and the other was opened. Uncut and pristine, though the Samantha doll has popped out of the page. Theatre- star in three plays about Kirsten, Samantha, and Molly and bring alive their adventures from the past.

Inside the ribbon-tied box are fours Play Scripts for you and three friends and a Director's Guide that's filled with tips on casting, costuming, and staging. Cookbook with easy recipes from Kirsten, Samantha, and Molly's times past, 64 pages, softcover. Games- two challenging board games from the 1850s and 1940s, and a funny card game from the 1900s. Small 1.5 inch tear at top of paper. A Map of Felicity's Williamsburg. Child sized mob cap like Felicity's tagged and dated 1990 Pleasant Company has a several small, light yellow spot on it and a couple of tiny brown marks on cap. It may come of with a gentle wash, but I did not want to risk damaging it.

Information card that explains it it proper for a lady of this time to wear this cap and inviting you to wear it to the tea. Felicity shopping bag like new. "How to Make an 18th Century Potpourri Bag" craft kit. Included is original embroidery hoop, Pleasant Company thimble, and original instructions.

I'm unsure if the embroidery thread is original or not. It matches the colors described and was stored in the kit in the box for the last 27 years. Missing needle, fabric, ribbon, and potpourri.
