18 American Girl Doll Early 1990's Pleasant Company Dreamer-Like Samantha
18 American Girl Pleasant Company Samantha Parkington Doll, Pre-Mattel. I believe she's from the early 1990's, with soft, squishy vinyl, light face paint, and an exposed wig cap. She's from a childhood collection, long since in storage and ready to be enjoyed again! She's considered Dreamer-Like, since I haven't been able to affirmatively date her to 1992, and she has a body tag, but her eyes definitely have smaller irises and seem to gaze upwards, earning her the "Dreamer" nickname.
Samantha is in gently played with condition. Her vinyl and body are clean, no marks or stains. There's one place on her leg where the stitching has come loose, see pictures. She can stand unassisted, hold a pose, and has tight limbs.
Her eyes open and close as they should. She has beautiful soft brown lashes. Her hair is lovely, soft and shiny and uncut. There is a large chunk missing from the underside of her wig, though, see pictures. It's not noticeable when her hair is down, and I've showed it braided so that you can get an idea of the thickness of her hair now.
