Here for the serious American Girl Doll collector is a gorgeous West Germany made American Girl Doll Samantha by Pleasant Company--in MINTY display condition in original burgundy box with band (box in good condition with minor shelf wear noted). Long white flat neck strings are intact. White muslin body is very clean. She has no marks or stains that I can see. Limbs are still fairly tight; she can hold a pose and stand independently.

Her long brown hair cascades down her back in original curls and waves and is lighter and softer than the hair of later Samantha dolls. Long feathery eyelashes are intact and frame beautiful dark brown eyes. She comes wearing her meet dress with the paper tag that reads "Made in West Germany 1986, " her black ribbed stockings with the rare tag that reads Made in.

West Germany 1986, white bloomers and black Mary Jane shoes. Perfect for a gift for that special Samantha collector!
