Molly McIntire is one of the first three Historical Characters of the American Girl Dolls, representing the World War II era. Molly was first released in 1986. This 18 Molly Doll has gray eyes and her hair is light brown, straight with bangs that has been. She comes in an original Pleasant Company Box. School Outfit includes: Plaid Jumper, Blouse, Bloomer, White Socks, Black Mary Janes and 2 Green Satin Hair Ribbons. Bloomer and Mary Janes are marked American Girl, other items marked Pleasant Company.
School Lunch Accessory includes: Red Metal Lunch Box, Napkins, Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich, Carrot & Celery Sticks, Pear and Cookie. Comes in original American Girl Box. School Bag and Supplies Accessory includes: Red Canvas School Bag labeled "Molly McIntire", Blue 3 Ring Binder with Notebook Paper, Pencil Case with 2 Pencils and Eraser, Multiplication Flash Cards, "Gaining Skill with Words" English Book and Molly's Report Card. "Molly Learns a Lesson" book, Pleasant Company version, this is Book #2 in the Molly Series. Pre-owned: Good Condition: This Molly doll went to the American Girl Hospital a couple of years ago to be restrung, and had her neck string replaced with the newer zip tie closure.
Her hair was recently rebraided at the American Girl store. She has new ribbons to match her school outfit. Her body fabric has some slight discolorations - see photos. The straps on her book bag are worn, and the leather like finish on the straps is wearing from use. I see no marks or damage on her overall body vinyl.
